How my online 3D print service works

Fill out the Get a Quote Form

Fill out the form with your information, quantity, printing preference, material that you would like it made from, and color. Custom 3D prints infill is for FDM prints, which dictates how internal supports are used (10% is minimal, so the print will be mostly hollow, and 100% is solid). Most projects are 10-15%. If you have any questions or concerns about infill and what your infill should be, shoot me an email at info@jims3dprintshop.com and I can help you figure out what you need. If you need any help filling out the form, don’t hesitate to email me at info@jims3dprintshop.com, and I will help you with whatever you need to know. No minimum order quantity!

Upload a 3D file

3D files that I can process are (.stl, .obj, .step, .svg, .3mf, .amf). If you have a 3D model file that is not one of these listed, don’t worry! Most files can be converted from one to another with little effort. If you have questions on a file type, don’t hesitate to contact me at info@jims3dprintshop.com and I will help you figure out what needs to be done to convert it to a usable file for quality 3D prints. Submit your form. Done!

Receive your quote

You’ll receive an email with a quote for your project. If there is any issue with your project, you will receive a phone call to discuss what needs to be done to fix it.

Pay and print

At Jim’s 3D Print Shop, I have minimal overhead, no large inventories or expensive industrial machines to pay for. You’re just paying for the cost of the printing, which allows me to offer nationwide 3D printing services efficiently and affordably.

Shipping

Once your order is complete, I will package it and ship it out using your preferred shipping method. I offer Nationwide shipping. Tracking will be sent once I process your order.

Jims 3D Print Shop LLC

I bought my first 3D printer in March of 2021, during the pandemic, to give me something to do when everything was closed. I have been printing ever since and recently I decided to add more printers to my collection. First, I bought the same FDM Printer model, this one in a kit so I could build it myself to learn the ins and outs of the machines. I then bought 2 high definition/ high speed resin printers to add variety to my capabilities. Printing things for my friends is great and all but then I decided, “why not make money doing something I love to do”. So, I started researching to see where I could fit into the market, one thing I noticed is that I only saw a few businesses that were in Indiana, and they are a national company that will charge very high prices for services. I want to help the individuals that just want something cool printed, or memorabilia scanned and printed and don’t want to pay those big business prices. Once I knew where I could fit in, I started JIM’S 3D PRINT SHOP, LLC. I am hoping to see this venture grow into something beautiful and successful. And with your help, I think it will.
